Last year I had the opportunity to travel out to Austin, Texas to photograph a few families out there including The Mitri Family at their thoughtful and stylish home as well as a nearby river. I first photographed them in 2020 for my Pictures of You Project here in LA, just before they made the move to Austin, and the photos we made are still some of my favorites ever. The energy and inspiration were flowing! So heading into this most recent session, I think we all felt a little pressure to create photos that were equally great. And, I think they are! They feel intimate, at-ease and cool, which I think are all words that also describe them perfectly.
