When Paarul reached out to me about a photo session for her family, we discussed everything she envisioned for her photos. She wanted the photos to feel relaxed and natural (music to my ears). And, with their love of adventure, travel and the outdoors, she loved the idea of using one of their favorite spots to explore up in the Angeles National Forest as the setting for our photo session. I always encourage clients to choose a location that is meaningful to them as it makes the photos so much more special and kids feel more at ease in a place that they are familiar with, so I thought the spot would be perfect. And, it was!
The majority of these were taken at the Switzer Falls Picnic Area in the late afternoon and then we pulled over along the Angeles Crest Highway on the way out for some fun, big sky photos at dusk. The photos are a combination of digital and film and, hopefully, it’s hard to tell which is which.
