For my next post, I wanted to share one of my favorite family shoots of 2019. I had a blast photographing the Avyazian Family once before and so I was excited when they contacted me again last year. Mom and Dad were celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary and wanted to commemorate the milestone with a fun family shoot in and around Montrose, one of their favorite places to hang out as a family, all of which I thought was such a lovely idea! Incorporating a place that is special to a family always makes the photos better and, having grown up in the area myself, shooting there was all sorts of nostalgic for me.
In addition to the setting, I loved all the variety we managed to get in the final collection of photos, which I think helps tell the family’s story in that moment in time while also capturing the personalities of the girls and the family’s connection. When I can get all of that into my photos, I call that a win-win!
