In my last post, I shared my magic hour-long portrait session with Megan and Julian. Today I’m sharing their equally magical wedding day at Bixby Waters, a private residence tucked backed in the Big Sur forest.
Originally, they were to be married at the Henry Miller Library, but they had to scramble to find an alternative venue when the bridge closure happened just a few months before their wedding date. It all worked out, thankfully, and their celebration one for the books.
I’ve included more detail shots of the dinner decor and food than I usually do for a blog post because it was all such a huge part of the day. Megan and Jullian are big foodies and it was SO delicious and beautiful.
All in all, it was such a treat to photograph such a beautiful Big Sur wedding. It was definitely a highlight of my whole year!
