Rose and Luke’s wedding was our last of 2015 and it was just the perfect way to end the year. I mean how can you go wrong with a desert oasis, a handmade wedding dress (sewn by the mother of the bride), dinner in an orchard and an intimate group of fun-loving people? It was wonderful!
I was excited when Luke contacted me because I had a blast with his wonderful family when I photographed is brother Nick’s wedding a couple years before. When he told me about their plans to tie the knot at his family’s home in the Mojave Desert, I was in. I didn’t really have a chance to get to know Luke and Rose the way I like before their big day because they live in Las Vegas but I felt like by the time we left their wedding, they were good friends. They are just such genuine people with so much love for each other. They’re my kind of people.
This collection of photos from their big day are some of my favorites of the whole year so I hope you will enjoy them!
This last one is my favorite of the day. It’s not your typical wedding photo but, for me, when I look at it, I see endless possibilities. :)
