Oh man! I have so much blogging to catch up. I loved so many of my photo sessions last year and this one was definitely a highlight.
When Vivian and Lance told me they wanted to do their engagement session at some of their favorite spots around Downtown LA, I was totally game, especially since they were some of my favorite places too. We started out at the Grand Central Market. And, of course, a trip to the market is never complete without stopping for a cone at McConnell’s. I love the photos of them enjoying their ice cream! Then, we got our daily exercise going up the Angel’s Flight stairs en route to Angel’s Knoll only to find that the park was closed down. (Wah Wah!) But, we made the most of it and got some great photos. Finally, we headed to the Arts District, meandering our way to one of my favorite bridges over looking downtown just as the sun was setting. All in all, a pretty epic afternoon!
All that said, the best parts of the engagement session were Vivian and Lance. Sorry to get a little cheesy here (Ok, not really sorry ;), but they are so sweet, so fun and so awesome that they make me feel pretty lucky to have them as clients. Really, they feel more like longtime friends than clients. That’s the best! They are getting married at The London in just a few months and I am so excited to be a part of it. If their engagement session is any indication, their big day is going to be so, so good!
