What can I say, I love these two people. I think it would be impossible not too. I realized while editing Brett and Ashley’s wedding photos over the past week just how much I am inspired by my clients. Both as individuals and as a couple, their character and their connection make me want to create something special for them. As a result, I am constantly growing and evolving as a photographer and that makes me extremely grateful to my clients. I don’t want to come off as cheesy or dramatic but it’s something I wanted to put out there.
In the case of Ashley and Brett’s wedding, I was not only deeply inspired by their sincerity, their humor and their infectious fun-loving ways but also by their wedding venue. I had never shot at the historic Carondelet House but it’s definitely one of my favorite venues I’ve worked in yet. It was beautiful inside and out with some really interesting architectural details that provided a great backdrop to our photographs. Plus, Christy and her team from Orange Blossom Events knocked it out of the park and made wedding planning look easy, which it’s not.
A little praise has to be given to my team, Andrew and Ethan, and an honorary team member, Spring at Skyline Entertainment. Be sure to check out a sneak peek of Andrew’s wedding film at the bottom of the post. And, last but not least, thank you Ashley and Brett for inspiring this post about inspiration.
