So, a big thanks to all of my clients for providing me with such wonderful subjects to photograph!

On that note, here are some pretty cool photos from a recent session with my buddy Finley and his parents, who are regulars on One Eleven Photography’s blog.  We met up at a pretty park in La Crescenta, CA where I chased this nearly two-year-old cutie around after which we headed over to Descanso Gardens in La Canada.  The goal was to get some adorable photos of Finley for the family’s Christmas cards.  I think we succeeded!  Here are a few of my favorites not appearing on their holiday cards.  (I would hate to spoil the surprise!)

Occasionally, as a photographer, I shoot at a location that almost does the work for me.  Such was the case with Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge, California.

As a child, I visited these gardens countless times with my school, which was just up the road.  Perhaps it was my adolescence or it may have just been the frequency in which I went there, but at some point I started to take the garden and all of it’s gazebos, trellises, winding pathways and pleasantly perfumey flowers for granted.  So it was no surprise that coming here 15 years later made quite an impression.

Photographing Matt and Hilary’s wedding was an absolute pleasure.  Enjoy!
