big family fun | capistrano beach » one eleven photography

A few months ago, a family friend, Sandee, contacted me about taking photos at a reunion her family was planning in celebration of her mom’s birthday. They had rented this great beach house right on Capistrano Beach down in Orange County for several days at the beginning of June. And, they wanted to do some big group photos of the whole gang as well as individual family photo sessions each of four siblings and their families. Loving the idea, I happily jumped aboard. Plus, I’ll take any chance I get to spend the day at the beach!

While all the families live in the Southern California area, this was a great opportunity for everyone to spend some quality time together. I think the photos we got captured all the fun they were having. We had great weather and I loved the beach-inspired color scheme they picked for their clothes… very “So Cal.”
