Now that everyone’s Christmas cards are wrapped up, I can share some of my recent family session favorites and not spoil the surprise for the lucky recipients. Photographing families for the holidays was a welcome change of pace after a busy wedding season. This particular photo session was super fun because it was with two of my favorite subjects, Isla and her big brother Finley. Finley has made multiple appearances on my blog but I’ve only had the chance to photograph Isla was when she was just a few days old. We lucked out with a super sunny day in late October up in the Santa Clarita mountains and the kids were great models. Like Finley, it seems that Isla has also inherited her mom’s knack for taking great photos!
Today also just so happens to be their parent’s fourth anniversary. Congratulations Clover and Ben!! Love you guys!
