I had so much fun photographing this super cool, beautiful family this past week. I have known Jamie and Kyle since we were kids and feel like I’ve known their gorgeous daughter Mila just as long. We wanted to do a family photo session to get some great shots of the whole family mixed with a little maternity photography to capture the newest addition to the Marvin family due in a couple of months. As with many of my family sessions, we did our shoot at their home in Altadena that has a backyard that makes me a little jealous. The rain we’ve been getting for the past week in LA took the afternoon off and the remaining clouds provided the perfect soft light that I love to photograph in. I think the results are pretty great.
