These days it seems like I’m either taking photos at a beach or in a forest. (#notcomplaining) In the case of Megan and Brodie’s engagement session, it was a little bit of both. We had planned to do their photos on one of the many picturesque beaches along the Oregon Coast. But, when I arrived at my Airbnb in Road’s End and discovered it was nestled into the most amazing coastal forest and literally footsteps away from some of prettiest hiking trails in the area, it seemed like the woods were calling our names. So we started the shoot off with a little adventure into the wild and then made our way to the beach nearby as the sun was going down. It was an extra bonus that we stumbled upon the incredible “God’s Thumb” along the way.
