Shannon has pretty much responded to all the images I’ve shared since our shoot a few weeks ago with heart eyes emojis, lots and lots of them. And, really, I think “heart eyes” is the best way to describe the whole experience of adventuring up the Angeles Crest Highway for my engagement session with these two.
After having just met in person for the first time, I took a laughter-filled, phototastic drive with Shannon and Jon up into the forest north of LA as golden hour was setting in. We started out at a couple woodsy spots which were pretty, but I was determined to end the shoot with a few stunning, epic, scenic shots… I just wasn’t quite sure where. Luckily, Shannon and Jon were up for some exploration and, man, it totally paid off. I kind of lost my cool when we came to this amazing, amazing, AMAZING overlook just as the sun was going down. It was so good! All I can say is… heart eyes.
